Billesley Primary appointed as RISE Reception Network Lead

We are proud to share that the Department for Education has selected Billesley Primary School to serve as a Reception Network Lead School within the national RISE Reception Networks Programme.

As part of The Elliot Foundation, Billesley is proud to be one of five schools in the West Midlands region chosen for this role. This initiative is central to the government’s goal of ensuring 75% of children reach a "Good Level of Development" by 2028.

Our role in the region

To drive excellence in early education, Billesley will act as one of five hubs for collaboration across the West Midlands by:

• Hosting open days and visits to showcase high-quality Reception practice.
• Facilitating professional dialogue around early years teaching and leadership.
• Sharing resources and approaches to strengthen provision.
• Leading regular network meetings to support collaboration

We look forward to working with colleagues across the region to continue improving outcomes for young children and ensuring every child has the strongest possible start to their education.
